Frequently asked questions
Which databases does Ruamhub support?
PostgreSQL and MySQL / MariaDB on every plan; SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite and MongoDB from the Dev plan. CSV and Excel (.xlsx) files can be imported as tables or joined with database tables.
Can I send reports to other people?
Yes. Design the report page yourself (headers, groups, tables, totals, logo and fonts) and let a pipeline send it as PDF, Excel or Word by email, SFTP, S3 or a shared folder, split per customer and sent to each customer’s own email.
Is my data moved to Ruamhub?
No. Your data stays in your databases. Ruamhub connects to read and edit within the permissions you set, and stores only connection details, run history and the audit log.
Who can edit data?
Each workspace has Owner, Admin, Editor and Viewer roles. Editors and above can edit; Viewers are read-only.
Can the Ruamhub team see my customers’ data?
No. Our platform admins see account data only, such as email, plan and status, so they can support you. They cannot open or edit the data in your databases.
